Welcome to
my Dream Journey as through your interests I am able to reach beyond borders. It is
my desire to expand the realms of greatness here on earth, one individual at a
time as we Co-create a better world to Live & Love in.
The more
we share and expand our lives the more we realize we’ve only touched the
surface – there is so much in this world to enjoy and discover. I see things now from the innocence of a
young child as they stress-free roam their freedom unencumbered, enjoying their true essence and motorability, to
our loved seniors as they struggle with motorability
and try to remember who they were and what once was. Some right back to the
point of unencumbered freedom once again as the mind has slipped away.
I find
myself somewhere in the middle of this and wonder what is it really that has us
go through the many avenues in between and what is it all worth? It really doesn’t matter who we are, look
like or where we are. In the end just as
in the beginning what only really matters is who is in our lives and the love
and caring they give. All else is truly secondary for when we come to once
again being totally dependent on the care-taking of another, no one really asks what did you accomplish or
even how much money you have. You may
receive admiration of these things but everyone gets the same love and care and
they live amongst each other rather equally.
The difference is – who comes to visit you?
The love
and caring we give,
all-ways outshines all else we accomplish and enriches ourselves
as we enrich others. So it is the same with how we love and care for our Soul
as it lives this earth experience -- inside these bodies. We cannot ignore these avenues and must take
the time to nourish. This is what no one
can ever take from
Us -- no matter what! This is the source of where we balance.
The
illusion of perfection changes colour when you step
into lives and see people who live so very different then the ‘Norm’ and yet
they reach out to you in a grateful thankful loving manner, far beyond what
you’ve probably experienced before.
The things
we find so valuable during life, strive so hard for, give up so much of what we deeply within
ourselves really want, all falls by the
way side at some point. So much focus
on the exterior, the
busyness, more and more and we end up
with less in the long run. What about honouring and
nurturing our Health? How much of our
Mind-Body-Soul gets nurtured and healed in all this, as time and energy diminishes.
Through
music I would like to address the things that really deal with lasting
Value, the Gift each person can
implement within themselves for a richer life walk. I look at my audience when I sing, finding the content looks on their
faces, smiles, the peaceful energy that emanates and has
replaced the stress when they first walked in, gives me a feeling of a real
true human evolvement. Re-creating that
balance that modern day humans have imbalanced.
It is what
I live, feel, witness,
believe and want to share with the world. I feel it has been growing inside of me for
all my life. I believe my listeners can
relate to what I am talking about and also it allows them to experience their many
feelings calmly, even to be moved to tears -- but then finding comfort and
understanding to move foreward.
These songs will truly take you to Your
Center. My music is not about directing
your beliefs or feelings, but rather to
help guide you to Your place
- where you know what Truths are real and right for You......
I believe
in a World where individuals respect the Gifts that Creation has presented to
us, diminish outside influences and co-create a world of great Joy, Peace and
Conscious living......to share this is true unimaginable Bliss!

* * Revealing the Songs * *
I’ve come
to believe that we must always walk Placidly amongst the Noise, so to quieten the appearance of what truly does not bless us, and
raise the energy that only Spirit generates, then Peace and Tranquility are the
‘Rewards’. It is in this Peace that all
the answers come as we need.
It is in
this Peace that Healing & true Joy manifests......
I Dedicate this album to my Mother who taught me
no matter how difficult our Journey, to always see & believe in the
Good in everyone. I have loved and recognized Her Sweet Spirit which still
continues to carry Me.
Each Song
just as Life always has a Journey -- a Story, as well as a Purpose which is
different for everyone who hears it.
This album has wonderfully come together still to my amazement, I am truly grateful
to all those that had a part in and around it.
I am especially Grateful for the endless Inspiration through me that is
the Source and direction of my Music.
Song # 1: ‘ Reach Out and
Touch Your Spirit ’
In our
daily bustle we so easily push our Spirit aside. If we can only stay open to and let it always
be our guide -- letting go of all that is of lesser concern, we can and will truly walk our Divine
Destiny.
Right from the start I knew I wanted to name this
album ‘Touch Your Spirit’ However there was no title track written. For the entire recording I made attempts to
write it, but
nothing came and I believed it just wouldn’t happen. Two weeks before
finalizing the CD I
woke up with the words ‘Reach out & Touch Your Spirit’ on my mind and the
rest of the song just followed. I walked
in the studio, song
in hand, my producer listened to it and
said “ I like it – let’s do it ” so we
dropped another song and had the title track!!
This song
is truly getting to the Heart of Your spirit,
about letting go and Releasing all the Fears and things that block and
jumble up our thoughts, our lives, what society and others have told us we
should do and be etc.... It’s like freeing up space on our computers so that
the programs we really need to run & our deepest desires can function
smoothly. We seem to loose the important
ingredients of loving ourselves, staying clear and open for
direction......in-touch with who we really are.
Fears and blockages only keep us frozen in destruction instead of living
in ‘Trust’ and ‘Truth’.
Song # 2: ‘ Safe in the Arms
of Love
’
I think
one of the best feelings I have ever experienced is feeling Safe... in arms of
Love! We are never alone, there are
always Arms of Love around us, whether it is the many different forms of human
loving, spirit,
pets, nature, places we go and things we do, loving thoughts etc. Love is all-ways the best we have to give and
receive so let us embrace ‘all that is Love’.
Song # 3:
‘Voice of
My dear friend wrote this poem of
Song # 4: ‘ Peace Like a
River’
As I was looking through my friends
book of poems one morning, it just
opened to Peace like a River. Although
I know I read it before,
this morning for some reason just spoke to me. A fitting tune out of the blue played through
my mind and I went with it. As I was finishing this song someone called &
told me I must check the news. That happened to be September 11, the exact same
time the Trade Centers were being attacked in
Song # 5: ‘ Did You Miss the
Roses’
Roses have truly got to be one the most beautiful
flowers created. They are among my favourites. This
song is not just about the flower, but
comparing Life to Roses – a precious velvety perfection with the perfect aroma
and colours – we must carefully trim the thorns on
the stem so we can hold on to the rose without pain and enjoy only the
Beauty.
I also
have my Son to thank for teaching me at his young age about exploring, taking
time to stop & admire the Beauty all around us as he would pick up little
stones or sticks along our adventures & fill his pockets to take home. My first response was that I didn’t want
items like this brought into my home, but soon realized the beauty he
saw in things I had missed. So in our every day we must stop and marvel
at the wonder all around us,
the precious people in our lives, or we will rush by and miss the
precious things of Life.
Song # 6: ‘Legacy In
Granddaughter’s Eyes’
Grandfathers & Grandmothers are just
so very, very special. Whether they are directly related or not, their wisdom and gifts of life teach us
value and to grow older more gracefully. This song is an Honour
to all grandparents.
And even when their Journey moves beyond earth
their Love & Teachings continue on in us.
This song was inspired by a heartfelt poem a friend gave me that her
daughter had written --- a pure message truly from the Heart.
Song # 7: ‘He Said’
This is a song I actually wrote for Myself for healing as I was living through a very difficult
situation and looking for uplifting and comfort. My spiritual avenues seem to always be
available even more so when going through valleys in life. Knowing we are never alone and supported in
every way, I
take great comfort and guidance in that.
Promoting Inner Peace is also a tool that helps to change things back to
balance.
Song # 8: ‘I’ve Stood on the
Mountain’
This song is designed as a meditative avenue
combining the Christmas and Easter story together, bringing the messages and
meanings to modern day life regardless of what faiths and beliefs we have. I
find Christ to be the most enlightened Master that’s walked this Earth --- with
the most simplistic teachings of living an abundant Life. As we walk in Love and heed to these
teachings, life can be ‘Heaven on
Earth’. This song is my Vision and I dream that one day
I will walk the same grounds He walked on peacefully.

For Leta,
The “Touch Your Spirit” album is a wonderful
melody of soothing, relaxing and uplifting music – it’s
music for the body, mind and soul. It
has substance and depth within
the framework of each
song and Leta’s voice can not be described as
anything short of heavenly.
This album
holds a very special meaning for me as it touches me in a way that no other has
and each time I play it, it returns me to one of the most important times of my
life – cherished memories with my youngest son.
I would play this album to comfort and quiet him as a newborn – and
although he is now three, this album still brings us the same quality time as
we sit and rock together while listening to it.
As a working Mom, I find that playing the “Touch
Your Spirit” album in the background while working takes a lot of the stress
out of my day. It’s
soft undertones and continuous flow make it ideal listening music during those
extra stressful days.
If anyone were to look for the chicken soup of
the music world – this album would be it.
I can’t imagine getting through some of my days, let alone most of my
weeks without playing this album. It
brings me home again, to a place of inner-peace, comfort and quiet time.

I'm writing to you to tell you how much your CD has meant to me. When we first
got your CD it was filling our house with it's
beautiful energy every day. My husband and I still listen to it quite
regularly. I find that it is particularly a wonderful tool to bring me to my
center. When I have it on while working the work seems to do
itself as I float along to the lyrics to the music. Thank you for
blessing us with this tremendous gift and keep producing new songs............
Your song "Reach Out and Touch Your Spirit" has a particularly deep meaning for me
and yesterday I was reading in the "Course in Miracles" book. It said
on p. 153 "Healing is the result of using the body solely for
communication. Since this is natural it heals by making whole, which is also
natural. All mind is whole. Mind cannot be made
physical, but it can be made manifest through the physical if it uses
the body to go beyond itself. By reaching out the mind extends itself
(which is love). To communicate is to join...only extension is the mind's
function."
When I listen to "Reach Out" I get a visual of extending and joining
with the Christ in others, seeing their holy sinless light which is spirit.
